Burbank HCF Updates
Our office is located within the Burbank Chamber of Commerce, on Magnolia Blvd. Our website now features updated grant and scholarship application guidelines and application forms which can be downloaded and printed or completed online. Grant recipients will find the semi-annual grant report form now conveniently available on the website for download and completion or online submission. Geri Ostil Hernandez has over 15 years experience working with non-profits, most recently with the American Red Cross where she specialized in marketing and relationship building. She looks forward to working with the Burbank HealthCare Foundation because it fits in with her passion for making a difference. Says Geri, “What you give makes life meaningful, powerful, and positive. Ultimately, it is what you get back.”
Burbank HealthCare Foundation Annual Dinner
On March16, 2011 Burbank HealthCare Foundation hosted its annual awards dinner at The Castaway in Burbank to recognize local organizations who were awarded Grants for 2011.
In addition to learning about our local organizations and their efforts to impact the community, guests included our 2011 Scholarship Recipients and Mayor Anja Reinke who was present to acknowledge all the award recipients.

 The Burbank Community YMCA has been serving the residents of Burbank for over 80 years and has been situated in its downtown Burbank location since 1945. The well-regarded non-profit organization promotes Youth Development, nurturing the potential of every child and teen, Healthy Living, to improve health and well-being, and Social Responsibility, to encourage giving back and providing support to neighbors. The Burbank Community YMCA welcomes contributions to support its mission to provide people of all ages lifelong opportunities to become stronger in spirit, mind and body.
